Coronavirus. Important information for customers.

Wagner Renewables Ltd are currently operating as usual.

We are mindful of the current issues around the spread of Coronavirus this is an issue we are taking seriously and monitoring closely.

Installation Customers

Whilst it is business as usual we are taking precautions to protect staff and customers from any possible contact with someone who may be carrying the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Where deemed necessary electrical works within a customer’s property may be postponed.  Currently we have assessed the risk of working externally on customers properties to be very low and this work can continue. We are remaining vigilant and if we feel that it is necessary to postpone a job we will do so.

If you are due a visit from a member of staff from Wagner Renewables please let us know if you;

  • Are feeling unwell or are showing any symptoms of COVID-19
  • Have been in contact with someone else who has been unwell, or has since become unwell
  • Have recently been to one of the category 1 countries (as per the list on the Government website)
  • Are self-isolating for medical reasons

We are more than happy to rearrange site visits and surveys or postpone jobs where necessary.

Distribution Customers & Suppliers

The risk from us to our distribution customers remains very low.

What we do ask is that if you are planning to collect an order from our warehouses please only do so if you are feeling well, have not been in contact with any persons who are feeling unwell, or if you have not been to a category one country. This also goes for any persons planning to visit us, or if you have a meeting arranged.

We also ask that if you have an order that is due for delivery that you are unable to accept that you let us know as soon as possible. We can move delivery dates and store orders in our warehouse, this isn’t an issue. Please keep us informed if you foresee any issues with accepting orders.

Due to the changes in exchange rates we are now seeing daily changes in stock pricing. Please bear this is mind when asking for pricing, and requesting quotes to become sales orders. All quotes are now subject to change until the point they become a sales order. Once you agree to a quote you will be sent a sales order, if you are not sent a sales order with updated pricing please ensure you ask us for one. Once sales orders are accepted by our customers we will honour the pricing on that sales order. However due to the rapid changes in pricing we retain the right to change this after 7 days if we feel that it is necessary, or we have not had confirmation of the sales order. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, we are working as hard as possible to ensure that prices do not change too much but some of this is out of our control.


We are working hard with our suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that orders are fulfilled. We are working to increase our stock holding to account for any further supply issues. However, we are unsure of how things are likely to pan out. Supply issues could occur at any point and without notice. If we are unable to supply an order with the products that you have asked for we will suggest alternative products. We ask that during this time you check any quotes and sales orders carefully to ensure you happy with them.

Training and Open Days

We have taken the decision to postpone all planned training events. If you have signed up for a training event we will be in touch with you directly. All training events will be re-scheduled for later in the year.

We will not be holding any public open (‘learn about solar’) days in the foreseeable future, keep an eye on our events page and social media outlets for future dates later in the year.

Going forward

All members of staff at Wagner Renewables are up to date with the current guidance from the Government. Should any members of staff come into contact with someone who is unwell or if they feel unwell themselves we will review our operations. We are keeping up to date with Government guidance and constantly reviewing our working procedures. We are also putting extra measures into place to increase our capacity to allow team members to work from home.
