St Lucia 4.5kW case study

Our team were contacted by a customer in the U.K. who wanted to have goods exported to the island of St Lucia, in the Caribbean. Our export team arranged for the goods to be packed and sent to our customer.

Further discussions led to our customer wanting assistance in the installation of the electrical components, and to check the the solar panels had been mounted correctly. One of our electrical installation team headed out to St Lucia to ensure that everything had ben installed safely and to complete the electrical installation side of the system.

The solar array comprised of JA 280W Modules mounted using our TRIC hanger bolt system (TRIC BE Bolts). This was all fed into a GoodWe EM hybrid inverter, capable of managing both the solar PV and the battery storage system. For the storage we used 3 Pylontech lithium ion units giving a total of 7.2kWh of storage capacity.

To allow ourselves and our customer to monitor the system including the storage we set up an account on GoodWe SEMS portal.
