This install comprises of 15 JA Solar 315W modules mounted using our TRIC A mounting system. Each module is individually optimised using the SolarEdge system, this is all strung back to a SolarEdge HD Wave inverter. This combined with a GoodWe SPB AC coupled battery inverter has allowed our customer to add battery storage to his system. The batteries are Pylontech lithium ion units, a total of 7.2kWh’s of storage was installed with this system. With the SolarEgde and GoodWe systems our customer has online portals which allows them to view the generation of each modules and the total array generation, and separately on the GoodWe SEMS portal they can view their battery status, the incoming amount being saved, and any exported energy.
To help increase self consumption for our customer we also added a Solar iBoost, this little device automatically diverts any surplus energy produced to heat water in an immersion tank, any further energy is then captured by the batteries.

To prevent any birds taking up residence under the array our customer opted to have a pest exclusion mesh added to the array. This uses specially designed clips to fasten a galvanized mesh to the panels without voiding the warranty.
