This 4.2kW installation uses 14 Peimar 300W full black modules, a great looking panel at a reasonable price. These were optimised with the Tigo Retrofit solution. The Tigo units ensure that each module is working independently, this negates any string issues such as shading. The Tigo units also work the modules to their maximum potential. The strings fed into a GoodWe Dual string inverter.
To increase the self-consumption of the array a Solar iBoost+ was also fitted. This clever device diverts any surplus energy generated to heat water in an immersion tank.
